Hahaha - did you read about how the dude who wrote that got banned from some other forum for arguing with a mod about whether it's a breach of security? Like there's any information there that ANY website can't automatically identify and collect from you....

Heh... it wasn't the mods who disliked it, but some lamer complained to the mods that this dude was stealing their IP info... and as I said, if this guy was really stealing this info there's no need whatsoever of showing that person the information he's about to steal...
The mods had no choice but to remove it, and when I asked why, the mods got all Nazi-like and banned him.
The truth is, the server logs of any website will contain all that information and more about each and every visit you make, and no amount of "harmless signature" removal is gonna change that.
