ok ive got a tournie coming up next week and i wann aget my trigger set up propperly as at the mo it is poss to get it to bounce now and then and i dont wanna get pulled for it.....coz the rest of the team will linch me!

ive not taken the rame off before so im not 100% what adjusts what other than the post travel screw that is in the trigger blade....the hsw website says that the pre-travel can be adjusted without taking the frame off too but where is it?
also how does everyone like to set the spring tention, im thinking of making mine a bit heavier as im used to mechanical cocker triggers and the iframe sometimes feels like there is nothing there when im pulling

ideas/advise plz :)

it depends what type of i-frame you have. the newer ones ( i think) have pre and post travel adjusters on the trigger blade itself. the older ones have post travel in the blade and pre-travel inside thew solenoid tray.
if yours is an old one, whip off the grip frame and you'll see a grub screw in the top of the frame, just turn that and it'll do your pre travel. if i remember rightly you have to take the board out of the frame to do spring tension.
hope that helps

think it must be the older one then, ive got the frame off now, i can see about 3/4 of one screw tucked under the board that looks like it could be the pre travel but looks like ill have to take the board out to turn it

ok now i have taken the board out of the frame, i can see one screw, just above the grip, about half way along the soloniod tray, this has a small (maybe 3 coils) spring under it and doesnt seem to do much other then lock the trigger when im adjusting it.

also i can see a tapped hole in the top of the trigger blade itself which doesnt have a screw in it, althou it doesnt look to me like it would do anything if there was one there!

have stuck it all back together and it still works but im now puzzled as to how to adjust it!

does anyone else have trouble with their iframe bouncing?

You have three adjustments. Post travel on the trigger, pretravel in the grip frame (where the battery is) and the one in the solenoid tray is the spring adjustment.

stronger springs
Just get out your least favourite ballpoint pen or propelling pencil, unscrew and remove spring... Cut to length!:D

The spring which was in it was cut, hence there only being 3 coils.
I agree it was possible to get it to bounce (hold the top of the trigger lightly as if it was a single trigger) but it was wicked fast double tapping it! :D :D :D
