Im interested in what todays youngsters think to Hyperball. This type of game was revolutionary, and a real turning point in tournament paintball. Plus, Robbo had some hair :)

Look at how the Brits stomped the yanks. How many times does this happen in todays leagues?l

hyper ball is still big in the states, played it all the time. Most of my local fields had at least one of these. Great fun, it was revolutionary. This was posted on TechPB a month ago, great site all on here should check it out. Plus Kitty is a member!

could't agree more Mark, one of the all time great styles of paintball. Got wooped off the Bandits too many times to count.

You know what, its not really even Hyperball I'm talking about, it was the adventure of the new, pushing boundaries, playing some paintball and having some fun. All of which seems to be sadly lacking in the new 'Strive to 5' or whatever its called era of postage stamp playing fields, robotic players and guns game we have now.

Just look at the break out, it took them longer to get to their primaries than the average game lasts these days.

Yeah I liked hyperball for that reason it was at the fore when it came to changing the way we played, out of the woods and onto the fields. 10 man fields were awesome back then playing without tripping over a team mate every time you moved.
