hybrid halo back plate ?

just bought a hybrid halo back plate and i am having a little trouble fitting it does any one know if its supposed to slide down the inside of the shell or in the channel sides that the original back plate came out of the first option doesnt seam right and the second option is so tight im worried about cracking my shells does any one know whats right thanks

i bought one and it does fit the same way as the standard backplates.

mines verytight in the slots so tight i cant get the bolts to pickup on the nuts but have now put it on the inside with a little trimming of the plastic/rubber edges, but this maybe because of the shell as i had hell getting the board out of its retaining slots?

mine fitted in ok, just a slight squeeze

They are a tight fit but they do fit in the normal guide. Try a "little" lube in the guide as the hybrids do tend to stick being rubber.

used a bit of dow still tight but has got in there now thanks for that
