HSE and DOT air systems

right i'm a little confused about all this lark, i'm aware the hse is the uk standard and dot the american one so i have the following questions due to being offerd a dot bottle/regulator

1. are DOT systems legal to use in the uk?
2. if not can they be HSE certified and become useable?

Use the Search thingy up at the top a do a search for H-PAC or cylinder testing..

its very simple really and here are the answers,

You cant get a DOT bottle tested to HSE standards

Simply HSE or nothing.
