HPA Tank for Dye DM5

Hi all,

I've recently bought a second hand DM5 with UL frame and a new Halo B V35 hopper and I need to purchase an air tank. Can anyone recommend a decent HPA tank and what size/pressure works best with this marker?

Being a bit of noob, I’m not sure whether I need a high or low pressure regulator and if the psi makes any difference. I’m mostly going to be doing walk-ons for the next 6-12 months and hope to migrate to tournament play once I’m a bit more familiar with the workings of the gat and the typical tourney set-up. Therefore, I won’t be using a remote to start with.

HP and LP are both fine on a dm5 but they are a little air hungry so get a 1'1l rather than a .8l

Out of interest, do you know (or anyone else for that matter) what the PMI Pure Energy Fibre Tanks are like or can you recommend one?

What are the main things to consider when purchasing a fibre wrapped air tank?

They are just about the same,just by differant manufactures

come in 07.l 1.1l and 1.5l in the UK

PMI ones are just as good as any other
