NiceButDim

S**t Happens!!
hey there guys I was just looking through my paintball equipment making sure i have got everything when I noticed I had 4 HPA bottles which say they were manufactured in 11/2001
and I know these ones have to be tested every 3 years.

well was I was wondering was could I use these bottles through november and test them the month after or do I have to test them in november ?

I was just wondering about the specifics of the test dates :)

Hey Mate, go for it. Try to get it filled, and dont mention the date unless someone else notices first :D Its legal until after Sept. 30th. Good Luck.
read out loud your profile to yourself and then do it again.
keep trying to get a bottle filled outside its test date:mad: ,dates are there for a reason, you ever seen what happens when a bottle pops,or the regulater thread goes:eek:

Le-pig, although you might not like the tone of ruthlessp8ntballer's post but the reply is correct. The bottles are legal until the 1st November...assuming HSE labels not DOT ;) (and it will be HSE not PI with that manufacturing date) As to if an air supplier will want to fill a bottle so close to its retest date is another question and one that can only be answered by them at the time of trying to get it filled. Just for the record all this "I spoke to H-Pac" rubbish that comes up time and time again I will always take with a pinch of salt until H-Pac announce themselves something...they do have an account on here just they don't get around to answering very often.
I had a similar problem with a scuba place filling my bulk air tanks as they would only fill them if they had both a valid hydro (I agree with that) and a visual certificate with at least a year left to run (that I didn't agree with)
Everywhere else would take the two certificates at the dates on them so that if they both had six months or six weeks to run that was the time frame within which they would fill them.
