ok i may sound dumb asking this question but what is the difference performance wise i know that hp is high pressure and lp is low pressure does this mean an lp tank fills less?

its the output of the Reg on the bottle: LP=400-450psi HP=800-850psi (usally)

No, an LP or HP refers to the regulator output. HP is 800-850psi, LP is 400-450psi.
The low pressure tends to have a slower recharge rate but the same amount of air is held in a tank.

Angels from the Speed onward work best on LP. Just about any high end out there will operate perfectly fine on both.
