How's this for good publicity for paintball?

TPG is a Dutch company specializing in mail handling. This company is BIG (we're talking mult-multi billions here).
This very same company has organised some sort of convention for it's main clients and business partners. As the piece de resistance of this convention, all those participating will be joining in a paintball tournament. They aren't being stingy about it either. Major facilities are being brought to the site hosting this event, including a tent that has a sattelite link to New York, so that once the tournament is over, former mayor of New York Giulliani can say a few things to the winners, and people can ask him a few questions. Pretty snazzy huh? TPG considers paintball to be a great activity, and is well interested in it as a sport, therefore they have asked if none of the games can be played in the woods, but on Sup'Air fields.
All the participants in this event will be people who sit on the boards of major telecom and postal companies.

The fact that a company like TPG is willing to spend thousands and thousands of Euros on a paintball event is in my mind a big deal.

Oh, and guess who's the poor fool that has to marshall this event....

I don't mind marshalling that day if you want but I aint speaking no Dutch

And I think it's a great big deal, probably the best thing for quite a while. Might be worth talking to Ant and seeing if they want to cover it for PGI, good example.

No, it's on the thursday. The day you arrive.

There will be lots of pics done (of me ofcourse ), and I'm sure a short review can be made.

Just found out that I have to go on a short cruise though the Amsterdam canals and give the players their briefing and whatnot. Should be good. I might even comb my hair.

PS When I said that the company is a public one, I meant that it's stocks are publically sold, not that it's "public" as in run by the government.

This will make other companies stand up a little towards paintball.
This will give the company a lot of attention throughout the event, and a lot of companies like publicity dont they?

They should advertise it.
But peeps should not expect balls out moves heh.

That will be them Dutch folks being all progressive again, won't it? Next thing you know they'll be legalising marajuana that's been used medicinally and recreationally for thousands of years and giving their kids decent sex education so they don't end up with STDs and pregnant at 13.
