Hey, I'm a newbie paintballer in the Portsmouth area. I've been to Camouflage a few times, but I want some of the Speedball action! (And believe me, I've done plenty of research on the subject ) I wanna get the Smart parts Ion XE to start with, then try and find a team near here to join.

By the way, What's up with the Freekz Training centre near southampton? Did it shut down or something, because I've never heard of it before...

I'm not too sure on the freekz site - but the series has shut down. Kitch (the organiser) is now running super 5ives which is played at ambush (i think? i'll be corrected if im wrong - have no fear) theres an event up there in a few weeks time - 3rd of may? would be worth a trip to introduce yourself - see some good games and make some contacts.

Dave you are indeed correct, the first round of the Super5ives is on the 3rd May

he's one of the most genuine people in this sport. always has a smile on his face and can point you in the direction of demo squad - great bunch of guys and a brilliant outlook on the game

The Freekz Training site will be re-opening within the next month. We have been moving to a better location and improving the training facilities.
