Aye Ode. There was some evil bugs in the top wood that day. We have been lucky not to see them much this summer but they surfaced with a vengeance on Sunday. Sorry to those few who got stung but grats for playing on!

We are well pleased the majority of those who came down enjoyed the day. As Scott said above we would love to hear all your feedback from the event. This was our first but certainly wont be the last so any praise, suggestions, love letters and hate mail would be very appreciated;)

There were some top guys doen at the weekend. Cheers to the Markermart lads who helped make it happen, especially Mad Dog who showed us all the true way of blowing up a Sup Air field with one hand and nailing a can of Stella with the other. Liam from Smokin Guns deserves a mention too for his blistering performance as a pole dancer on Saturday night. I think Fish has his eyes on you mate:D Jase and his team get the top players award for being hard as nails on the field and as nice as pie off it. With people like these in the field its like having extra marshals out there. Its nice to see people playing hard but fair.

We are also sorry about the few people who decided it would be fun to ramp their guns out in the field. We will be taking extra measures to stop this in the future. Its not big, its not clever, it just sucks! (you know who you are)

Overall though thanks to all who attended. Thanks to the safe zone crew who provided everyone with a top meal at lunchtime. I didnt get a burger myself so I am calling shotgun fior the front of the que at the next one!

Hear that everyone "SHOTGUN"

Hope to see you all soon.

Thanks again for making it such an enjoyable day

Hey, I don't supose anyone brought in a JT peak from spawn point 3 did they? I took it off in the first game to try & help my misting up problem and hung it from the netting, then forgot about it & left it there. Dumbass!

I will wander up there today and check for you ode. Cant remember anyone mentioning it but I will ask all the lads who cleared up aswell.

Also feel free to own up if you were the person who shot at me up in the turret when I was marshalling. I am changing my name to Scaramanga due to the welt/3rd nipple I am currently sporting. Jeez this one hurts...

Nice one Scaramanga, cheers.

All you need is a Herve Villechaise lookalike to run around during the games shouting "Da plane boss, da plane". It'd be magical.

i just want to say thank you to all the marshells and the safe zone crew for the best dam nosh ive had at a site.

with all that ammo flying arounds its small wonder you only have 1 new nipple!

how many people eventualy participated in the campaign?

As for a Herve Villechaise lookalike .... im sure Ian could do a pretty good impersonation ;)

scott

p.s great news about the 'HOT' gunners! it wasnt fooking funny and dangerous as i hear a mask was cracked! i got a taste of a hot angle firing pro-balls at under 10m and its damn nasty. some to**er got me with 6 in the back at the village on game 3 and Chris (green) thankfully came over to stop him creaming me with more. i had been shot 10 or 12 times already that day and non bothered me at all....those were a whole diffeent ball game. i honestly felt like id been shot. so great to hear the marshells are taking no **** and making sure EVERYONE plays hard and fair

Hot Angel ?

Scott,

based on your last post, I think I may owe you an apology. 3rd game in Village, were you wearing desert camo. I shot someone in the back as they were making their way across the open area towards the bridge. I put one string out, the guy went down screaming and I stopped - I counted three shots off. I thought it was at more like 30m than under 10m. The Angel had been checked by Chris as I left the safe area and it was checked again going into game four the velocity was 274 / 278. The Angel is unmodified. Apologies if it felt worse. I've heard there is another planned for the end of August, assuming I'm not banned hopefully I'll see yuo down there and I'll buy you a pint.

Regards

Badger
