balls....

IF THEY ARE IN A BOX, I'D FLIP THE BOX TO A DIFFERENT SIDE EACH DAY, OR EVERY OTHER DAY..... IN A BAG, JUST MOVE EM ROUND A BIT....KEEP IN COOL TEMPERATURES( I SAW SOME BALLS LEFT IN A POD IN A CAR, THEY MELTED TOGETHER AND CAME OUT IN THE SHAPE OF THE POD...THAT'S NOT GOOD) DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT KEEP THEM IN A DAMP PLACE, THE BALLS WILL SWELL IF THEY GET WET.... THAT'S ALL I HAVE
BALLS: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

here we go again

 :)

Paintballs do not like being cold, worse they do not like to be too hot! A warm happy medium is whats needed. If they are still boxed and sealed keep them that way, turn them at least every other day. Reason they will develope flat spots and worse the fill will settle and then you will have balls that shoot round corners:rolleyes: Paintballs are covered in a light oil this helps them move easily and stops them sticking. Good fresh paint much like choccy has a sheen to it, if not is old and only fit for chroning ect.... shooting holes through things. Once open I would recomend pots nice clean sealed ones failing that tupperware or anything clean with a good seal. Paintballs are hydroscopic and once their bags opened they start to swell and digrade. It dose also depend who you brought it from with the best will in the world if it's not in top notch condition when you get your paws on it, it really won't matter how well you personally look arfter it. Always buy your paint from a reliable honest source and if you feel neccisary ask them how and were to store it. all good supplyers will want the paint to be in the best condition and will be looking arfter it and I have found are very happy to give advise on storage. There are unscrupless suppliers, stolen paint happens, if it's cheep why?

Your best betfor cheep paint is to buy in bulk or at the end of a tourney when on one wants to have to reload it and take it home. Then again in our weather if it's been out all day at a cold tourney and not kept warm the damage is done. Unless it was designed for that sort of abuse, there are some top cold weather paints avalible at the moment and the winter formulars really do make a huge diffrence1

I shall depart from my soap box hope this helps and happy balling:)
