i`ve been playing for neally a year now and went to watch my 1st tournament game the weekend and i now want to join a team and start playing tournaments but i dont know were or how to start.....?

If you're interested in watching a tournament the next UK Masters is this Sunday 23rd in Uttoxeter if you're around. You can meet some of the teams and see how they play. It is a good laugh on the day once you get past players egos. Only joking guys. The tournament forum always has details of the next tournaments.

Go to a try out if any team is advertising on here that are located near where you live, or you can travel to where they train easily. Check out the contacts, queries and announcements forum, most people advertise in there. 
hey man id jsut advertized saying player wnting team,giv a few detaels about markers and ur postion and c wot you get posted on it , but like dark sed being on hear is a good start , or find out o fsome tryouts and tern up , any wyas all the best si
another way, go to walk ons and play with some regular players and see if they need any extras. Playing along side them, they can see how good you are and maybe they'll ask you to join. Who knows, if you do the sup'air sunday down at the npf you may get scouted
koth/uk masters this weekend
koth(king of the hill) run by the lovely spc ladies is a great place to start tourney ball!players are there to have fun so you dont really get the f***in and blinding and agression u get at the pa etc!come down and watch this weekend its free just bring ya mask and watch, make some contacts etc contacts are the most important thing!becoming a famialar face at events etc can get you a long way!come and watch and meet some of the teams im sure i can introduce you to a number of teams from our area such as full on,cannock cobras etc which u never know mite like ya and ask you to train with them and possibly find ya self on a squad!so my advice is get ya ass down to uttoxter on sunday(saturday if ya fancy camping and having a piss up) and meet the crew!look for me and the wcu guys were in fleshgear tops with wcu logo on the backand il introduce ya to a few ppl!
