How to get external Interest

OK Not sure where to put this so......

If you are running a Paintball team how do you get interest from external sponsors? People out side paintball?

I have sent off letters and links and had a nice response but all to no avail.

Any tips on what to write?

try to contact condom manufacturers, my friend did it whaen he started racing, mates condoms gave him 500£ and then when he got tv exposure, recorded he got 100£ extra.

If you try to contact a company that lots of people use there products for paintball even though they are not specifically design for us, EG. Nike, adidas trainers, bags clothing etc, and state the publicity that they can get you have got to make it sound as benifical to them as you can as companys don't like laying out money unless its to their benifit

Also try to market yourseldf to companies that promote extreme sports. Playstation, coca cola, skate companies and stuff like that. your more likely to get stuff off them because they understand how 'underground' sports work and are more open to sensible offers.

a red bull sponsorship would be great... imagine the bps you could get from caffeine shakes.....
