any ideas on how to get the trigger off my ir3 so i can adjust it? ive seperated the top from the bottom and ive removed the grub screw off the side of the trigger pivot and now im stuck!

...after you unscrew the grub scre you have to take out the pin which holds the trigger and on which the trigger pivots.
If you've done that, you are able to remove the iR3 Trigger and turn the screw so that you are able to adjust the trigger without removing it completly.

the hammer idea was my plan b but i think fierce's might just work as well. if all else fails i will just resort to plan b.

You need to use a pin punch, failing that get a narrow enough nail (try & hammer the point flat, it makes if easier). Place the punch/nail against the end of the trigger pivot pin opposite where the grub screw was & gently tap it with a small hammer until the pin comes out - you shouldn't need a lot of force so don't thump it! You can possibly get the pin just to push out without using a hammer if it's greased enough - mine did.
The most important thing in all of this is do it slowly and carefully, you don't want to scratch your new IR3.
