How often should my cocker be serviced?

how often should my cocker be serviced? And are there any things i need to look out for so then i know i need to get it serviced?

And what exactly is done in a service, as ive just had a brand new ram qevs and pump rod anyway.

well ide say :

Lube and check sear height.
check for blow back.
check/change orings.
sweet spot reg.
check lpr
strip ram (if u can) and lube and check orings.
lube 3way.
check springs.

umm am sure theres more. Would love to hear what planet do.

Whenever it doesn't work right. Most people with cockers "service" them far too much. Wipe off the paint, run a swab through the receiver, lube the bolt, and go. If you have an Eclipse breech sensor, keep it clean.

The best advice for most cocker owners is "quit monkeying with that gun!"

heh cheers guys, i dont touch it, im scared of it, its all chrome and hosey. Rips like a good un' im just scared of it dying!.

Perhaps a yearly service, depending on usage?
