Hi im just wondering how often do you change your masks lens for safety reasons i have had my mask for about 2 years and used it probably 8 times i bought it second hand and its a bit scratched up but there are no cracks, personally i think i would just use a lens until its so scratched up that it looks really bad or if it has any cracks or other damage but i bought my mask for about £11 and a replacement lens would cost more than the mask so i probably wont bother replacing it if it does break i will probably just upgrade, my current mask is a vents avatar but if it broke i would probably get a I4 and or maybe a second hand cheap lens.

As a guide I look at between one or two years, I have a number of sets of goggles so won't change a lens in ones I have not used.

What realy matters is if they will protect your eyes. As long as they are structurely valid they could be used for a longer time
However there is a lot of force coming from a paintball, if you get up close & personal then you want lenses you can rely on

Paintball is not cheap, eyes are priceless
You can get bargain goggles and lenses second hand but if you just get the lens then you are buying what someone else has decided is no longer any good for them. If you buy second hand goggles then there is the chance that the sale is because the seller has upgraded rather than they won't rely on the lens any more
