well if u use your bottles very often
i thinck u should get them tested after about every
2 years.. if u use them not too much
then i would say about every 5 years
or if u fell your bottle is in need of being tested
then well...test em

ok i hope this helps :)

its three 3 years from manufacture

if you look on the bottle it should have a manufactoring date on it.
if you add three years from then thats when it needs to be tested.

If you bottle does not contain a valid test sticker/or the manufactoring date then its illegal to use her in britian, i think

hope this helps

WELL
If u r using an air bottle it will need to be tested evry 2 years
(same goes 4 nitrogen)
well there is a legal time for them to be tested
but with paint ball bottles it dosent matter
c02 isnt very critical but i would get mine tested every 6 yeas?

well hear is the sum.. no u dont need to
bother testing them there not critical enough but
i would test them every 6 to 7 years
hope i helped

what planet are you on,are you trying to get some one killed.
paintball bottles do matter there still commpressed the same.c02 is at 800psi in the bottle wich will make a mess if it bursts
the law states 5 years for c02 steel/alloy tanks and 3 years for fibre wapped tanks regardless of what your doing with them.
do not guess and then post on things you don't understand:mad:

Could I make a suggestion here mate.

Poor advice on subjects like this is potentially dangerous

Your two posts on this matter sort of say that you don't actually know anything about bottle testing but are trying to pass yourself off as someone who does.

1. It DOESN'T matter how often you use your bottle, you still have to get your bottle tested at the appropriate time. Just because you use it less doesn't extend the certificate.

2. It DOES matter with paintball bottles. They are a pressurised container the same as dive cylinders or oxygen tanks and MUST be tested and certificated accordingly.

Bottle safety is extremely important especially after the unfortunate even in the US so if you don't actually know please don't post!

Ch1mpster you'll find all that you need here at the Paintball and The Law section of the UKPSF Website.

As Ste says in a nutshell it is

Three years for fibre wrapped bottles, so if you've got 1999 as the manufacture date on the bottle it's time to get it tested

Five years for Aluminium orSteel bottles, so bottles stamped with 1997 require testing

Le Pig, sorry about your local filler, but you can to a degree understand their concerns. The more up to date the certificate is the less danger there is in filling the bottle. At the end of the day the certificate is only like a MOT. It says that the bottle is safe when it was tested. 5 years of poor handling and who's to say how safe the bottle is. Frustrating though.
