Moved this to somewhere more appropriate.

Depends what you wanna practice really, but look for either wlak-on days (usually woodland scenario) or Sup Air training days.

These are usually BYO or at least Paint is not sold at "Punter" prices.

There are now more and more training facilites becoming available too, where you pay a nominal entry fee (such as £10-15) and then bring your own paint.

Paint is one of the biggest costs (especially as its a recurring one) but even bottom rung teams will be paying about £35 for a case, which is a fair bit lower than the 120-40 odd you might pay at punter prices.

How can teams in the bottom division possibly afford this and all their paintballs every time? Most places make you buy there paintballs at about £7 for a 100. Teams use 1000's of these don't they?
If you are training to play woodland then yes it is expensive, because very few sites allow you to byo paint. Byo is normally reserve for big games and certain walk-on site eg Planets - One The Edge site @ Congleton.
If you are talking Tournement Paintball then it's nearly all BYO or buy at discounted prices

As above, even new teams can get paint at about £35 a box or less and if practising at the same site reguarly have it supplied sometimes by the site if they develop a good relationship and pre-order it.
