How much do you think could be milled from a standard SFT shocker body? also is there any areas that can not be milled due to issues with the gun still be able to work?

over the bolt are there is a sizeable chunk, 5mm is not out of the question, over the breach and barrel threads there is less, 2-3mm max. You can take a bit off from over the bolt guide threads. I'd leave the bottom of the body alone, slight milling wouldn't hurt but nothing mmuch, rounding an edge, something similar.
cool thought that might be the case just thought as i might need to get it re-anno'd why not have a little play 
what you mean by candy stripped? just been having a look on gruntball see what they've done some odd colour combinations that actually seem to work. Thinking splash anno
