I just bought a black dragun LCD, considering a 68ci 3000psi nitro tank how many shots will that tank get me? some one told me olny like 500, I was told that my current 20oz C02 tank gets like 700shots....

why is it that co2 gets more shots than nitro or HPA???????

thanks,
can't wait to play this weekend.........

Because in the tank Co2 is a liquid, rather than a compressed gas list HPA. Therefore because its a liquid it takes up less space.

It turns into gas in the top bit of the tank, and thats what feeds your marker.

HPA is a pressurised gas which is regulated from 3000psi down to 800psi (ish) by your regulator.

Depending on what barrel you use, I would expect a range between 600 and 850 shots per fill. If you use, say, a Lapco or CP one piece, your shot count will be towards the higher range of that if you have a good paint to bore fit. More heavily ported and/or step bored barrels such as the SP All American, DYE boomstick, etc. will use more gas per shot, so from them expect around 600 shots or so, but I wouldn't imagine less. Ciaran.mooney's explaination above answers your second question perfectly.

ya the barrel does and i think its if it's ported and how long it is since the longer it is like the more gas each shot or somthing like that. Ive never heard of a 3 peice barrel only 2 peice barrels what the brand of the barrel?

my barrel

the sticker on the barrel said "spyder 3 piece sniper barrel"

the first piece si Stainless steel, then a aluminum section with internal straight rifling and some straight ports then the last piece is just a compensator if you ar fmiliar it looks like a flash suppressor. The barrel is 14" but with the comp its 16" I think

anyway i just used it this weekend, it was great...it shoot way straighter farther than my stock barrel.....
