So, an uncharacteristicly serious post, but here goes:
With the NPPL Houston event cancelled, which I have to assume has saved the NPPL a ton of money, as thier team list wasn't looking so hot and its the dreaded 4th event anyway, the 1st question is;
Will the NPPL drop to 4 events next year, or 3, and will the PSP drop down to 4 events, losing thier 4th also? I am willing to bet that whatever happens, it won't be 5 events in '09.
2nd question is, will the national leagues potentially putting out 7 events total, the NPPL opening thier doors to 5-man, and a 'Changing of the Guard' possibly on the horizon (I almost wrote 'probably', but don't have the intel to back that up right now), is this the strongest position that the PSP have been in for 5 years, and would all of the above, combined, be good grounds for the final integration of the leagues to present an end game on a format for professional competition?
