How long is a reasonable wait??

Hey guys,

I've been waiting for a shipment from america for around 2 months,
I have been sent a tracking number which tracks my parcel to customs at JFK on the 11th August but after that the tracking goes dead, spoke to UK postie he said there is nothing I can do but wait,
What I am asking is how long should I wait before i start kicking a fuss with the company i ordered the parts from.
In the company's defence there service has been A+ thus far I'm just panicking my parcel may not make it to me and I REALLLLYYYYYY want it

I would chase them for more tracking info

That shipment should have made landfall in the UK by now

They said that's all the info they have, I've even input it into usps and it just says arrived at customs ...

I have a tracking number starting LJ..... that's all they can give me??

Customs here I payed via paypal but it's an order from like June, the original shipment was wrong so they re shipped it but nothing has arrived :s

Sorry I mean customs at JFK dont know if its there or here but that is UK customs anyway I think :s
