Simple question and need a simple answer please.

How do you take off your asa elbow?

Its just too tight, tried a spanner and tried using an allen key to loosen the screw on the other side but no luck.

Answers please...

The elbow will be loctited in, depending on the strenght of the loctite you should be able to get it off.

Try poring boiling water on the elbow, be careful about getting any other parts of the marker wet, then use a wrench to take the elbow off. Watch it as they heat up like hell.

When you put it back on use blue loctite (242 i think) as that comes off with hand tools and a small amount of elbow grease.

It creates a seal and holds the elbow in place but (in the case of blue) allows the elbow to be easily removed again. Chances are you won't create a seal without it. You can pick the stuff up for £2.50 for any halfords.

Don't use PDFE tape as that stuff is a menace.

Get a pair of pliers and an adjustabe wrench. Use the adj wrench to put pressure on the elbow collar, grab the macroline with the pliers and pull like you've nevered pulled before. Be warned though, you may have to change the macroline after doing that depending on the damage the pliers does.

Or just cut a little off the end. But better to be safe...I saw some macro burst just before someone had a game at campaign, they were well pi$hed as you would be...
