How do you split an Egg?

I found tapping it with something like a pen in the sections where it wouldn't seperate helped. Seems to just free it up a bit, although I still needed a fair bit of leverage to finally get mine in half.
i just pull it and pull it till it comes apart, takes some strength, but doesnt damage it at least you know if the screws fall out mid game you will still be fine
Yes, they are a pain in the arse to seperate the parts Roland. But just keep pulling them apart and they do seperate. I usually put a flatblade screwdriver between the shell and slowly push it down as open it further (that make any sense?) - it's one of those where you have to make sure there are no breakables in the near vicinity as it goes all at once!

i'm not taking the piss i almost broke mine as i missed one screw hiding away there
and if they are all out just yank it really hard but the insides tend to go everywhere hehe

Hahahaha... name ONE TIME where even one screw fell out of your hopper mid game... I mean c'mon, that can't be a requirement when it comes to designing hoppers, surely?!Originally posted by L J

I will tell you what is a requirement when designing hoppers...using plastic on the lids that isnt a pile of poop....bloody Eggy lids keep breaking on me...bast*rd things!!
hehe there not like revies where you can take a vl200 rubber lid and just slap it on and with a lil tape perfect! almost unbreakable lid!
There's tape around the inner feed neck thingy to keep light away from the eyes. It's the tape that holds the thing together when all the screws are removed. It just needs a good yank
