You can run them on CO2 and I think if you double regulate them in can help a little but i'm not sure!! If your talking about a 4500psi MAX Flo then the Manifold can be swapped for a screw in one like a CO2 bottomline!! You can see the new manifolds on sp Europes website!!

A few of things I would suggest for best operation. One, keep it impeccably well cleaned and lubed, preferably after each day of play. Forget co2 because that often causes icing and puts more fouling on the internals, which you don't want to have to spend extra time cleaning off, and you don't want it there in the first place anyway. Second, get a one piece 14" CP barrel. Not 12", not 16", use a 14". That alone raised my shot count per tank by 250 shots at least. Thirdly, you can adjust the timing to use less gas, which requires that you read the manual a bit and experiment and/or have someone at your field that knows Shockers well.

First off all....... I bought a 99 shocker turbo..... when it came into the store i bought it from we tried it out, didnt work. reg had a faulty part:smartparts said. so ggot new part. It worked for about a case of paint then broke again..fixed it cleaned it greased it(smart parts tech told me 2 do) worked again for about 100 balls.. broke,fixed broke fixed. WTF
so i took off max-flow, added a bob long reg and nitro...... worked fine but looked sloppy........... then i decided it looked gay so i put back on a NEW MAX FLOW!.... and it did same thing again, next thing u know............SOLD
P.s too whoom i sold it too(little hillbilly kid in alabama) im sorry man. damn thing will give u a herneia playing with it ")
O yea..... anyone heard anything about the new ir3 besides the fruity full handed guard? Looking to buy....... cheaper than 1499.99 colored and carved.......... please tell me if u spot one for cheaper thanx

Get a Custom Products barrel off of eBay. I don't really know where to get them directly in the UK, which is a shame because not only are they great barrels, but they're obscenely cheap as well, something that the UK market could really enjoy.
As for Quick Draw, dude, if you're having that many problems with a Shocker then you either got the bad one out of the batch or didn't take care of it worth a crap. A maxflow shouldn't give you problems of any kind if you get one that works--always inspect what you're buying IN PERSON!!! YES, THAT VERY ONE, NOT THE ONE ON THE SHELF THAT DOESN'T GO IN THE BOX. Give someone a hernia? Go to the gym for heaven's sake.

just sayin that the damn shockekr is 5+ pounds and it is far more haeavy then outher guns.........
