A few of things I would suggest for best operation. One, keep it impeccably well cleaned and lubed, preferably after each day of play. Forget co2 because that often causes icing and puts more fouling on the internals, which you don't want to have to spend extra time cleaning off, and you don't want it there in the first place anyway. Second, get a one piece 14" CP barrel. Not 12", not 16", use a 14". That alone raised my shot count per tank by 250 shots at least. Thirdly, you can adjust the timing to use less gas, which requires that you read the manual a bit and experiment and/or have someone at your field that knows Shockers well.
