No, you have to take the whole reg off, its easy wayne, will tell you the trick this weekend, its simple.

Its not really a secret, just a easy way to remove the red lock tight.
Red lock tight is designed to be heated when applied, to work properly (or summit).
So if you take att the bits of the reg, burst dics, fill nipple and dial, stick some kind of tape around it (to cover the holes).
Then turn the Hot tap in ur kitchen on (ohh it helps if you have a 'Massive' vice). to 'heat' the lock tight, then move from tap (dry first) to vice, clamp tight, and honest to god, it spins off so easy.
Watch out though, if the vice isnt tight enough, or you aint heated the LT enough, you will mark the reg.
