How do you burn avi files to dvd?

Hey, im trying to burn a video which is .avi format to a dvd and for some reason it is not working, could anyone on here please help.

Get NERO and it converts it for you.

do you mean you want to burn the file to a DVD disc so that you can transport it, or do you mean that you wish to convert the avi file to DVD format so that you can play it on a normal DVD player?

What are you using to burn/convert it?

What problems are you getting?

If you are using a Mac (and or PC? not sure of it would work) then i use Toast Titanium which converts ti for you.

Nero 7 Premium and above will have Nero vision on it which will author the dvd nicely, or winavi convertor will do it as well Link to shareware version, though as it is a shareware version it wont have full funtionality and it may put something across the video, think dvdfab does it as well

Forget the rest download VSO ConvertXtoDvd it will convert anything and then burn onto disc for you good program.

Or there is MainConcept MPEG Encoder you will need TMPGenc Author to then author the film to vob files.

You can use nero but it's not that great.
