i usually just twisted it real fast but i saw someone do it a different way and never got to ask how. they twisted it a bit and shot, could someone tell me proper instructions?? thanks

Or get an on/off ASA if you don't fancy messing with your gas bottle. This won't be wasted if you up grade to air 'cos you can use it with a screw in pre-set system.
And before you say it, you'll end up upgrading to air, its becoming seriously affordable now and is sooo much nicer.

what cockersrule said, not only does it retain any unused CO2, but it also saves ur O-rings(which should be changed regularly just incase.
