yea i have had tournaments like that. in florida we get stuff like that alot especially in the summer. we had one tho in december not a major tournament but there were 28 teams in our div. but back to the weather it was around 50 degrees and it was pouring down rain from about 5 in the morning to i think it was about 11 that night. playing forward and getting in the snake was a real treat, especially diving into a 5 inch deep puddle of the nastiest mud/sand/paint/rain mix i have ever seen. a superman gone wrong meant that pretty much u may as well walk off the field then cuz there was no way you could clean off your mask or barrel. it got soo bad that they actually let us bring towels out so we could wipe our lenses off during the games, but we could only take them out of our bags in our pockets if we notified a ref that would watch us do it. we had an advantage tho becuase my other 4 players all had closed bolt guns. of course i'm the only one with a open bolt and so after the first game i played back so i could stay out of the puddles. the paint we bought was of course hellfire and some thicker shelled stuff i had never heard of so we pretty much didnt even bother using the hellfire cuz we knew there was no way in he77 that it was gonna work. after freezing our a$$es off and grabbing 2nd we all went back to our hotel and turned the heater on full blast and got some sleep.
