Hey, whats up y'all. Haven't written anything in the last two issues, I am one lazy *******, too busy with the Bushwackers getting ready for next season where we'll have TWO, count em TWO amateur A teams, its going to be sweet, put the wackers back on top where we belong. The Wackers image is really starting to improve, Ron doesn't get in HUGE trouble anymore, and most of the troublemakers are gone (I refused to leave) and now only the best, most respectful players remain. But enough about me, here's whats going on in the industry of paintball.
You guys know Rodney Squires from Dynasty, well he's been associated with JT for some time now, until lately, he just left JT for good as a employee, no word yet as if he left on his own or was fired.
Rumors have been flying that there will be no more Ironmen team next year (SC Ironmen, by the way) because it is possible that most of the core is retiring (Byron, Brahim Estephan, Marty Bush, Shaner) from playing Pro and top players like Yosh and Oliver have gotten offers from other teams, and i dont know if you know this but even if they stay together they have to change their name because Bob Long took them to court to settle once and for all who owns the name IRONMEN. Well...........Bobby won, no more team SC Ironmen next year, they will have to change their name to something else, probably something like Dye Factory.
Amateur A (semi-pro)- Strange is turning Pro, Naughty Dogs are not. You think they would, the year before Strange turned Amateur A the Naughty Dogs were Amateur A champs and did very well this year dispite the dominance of Strange. I think they should move up, and I want to know if y'all feel the same way. Strange understands why they need to move up, they don't want to sandbag the Amateur A division because its not good for the sport, well, now with their absence from this division I think Naughty Dogs will return to power and own the Amatuer A next year, challenge by few teams. A established amateur team (Check-It) is now under the control of paintball-god/hairstylist Eric Felix, who has played with Image, Ironmen, and Lockout. Eric sees extreme potential in the young team and many believe with his professional help they could quickly become the next Dynasty.
Amateur B- Well, many figured that the Amatuer B divison was going to be wide open this year without Strange, well the Warped Kids made short work of that idea. If you don't them they're great guys with ages of around 17-mid 30's, and their home field is the same as mine, SC Village in Southern California, I get to practice against them all the time and no one deserved it more than them and they will be moving up to Amateur A next year, so Amatuer A is were the competition will be at next season.
Some people are wondering if their going to stay together because there is no doubt that some top teams want to nab their great, fast little front players for next year, and no decisions have been made towards either way.
Well, thats it for now, I want to hear your guys gossip and news, just post it as a reply to this message and also reply if you think Naughty Dogs should turn Pro or not.
