would a vl eye loader be alright to use in speed ball because i don't wont to use something over price until i get use to the game ??

Karl - you should be more productive with your posts - why shouldn't he get that hopper, what are the advantages to using a Rotor etc. Your direct reply isn't very welcoming to any new players.

It looks to me by your profile picture that you may already have gear sorted, I would personally say that saving up to buy a good second hand Rotor or Spire would be your best bet - you would lose next to nothing for the depretiation on any of those hoppers opposed to buying that Viewloader.
Either of the mentioned hoppers work fantastic and are reliable enough for you to just throw some batteries in and go, easy to clean and maintain, rugged and durable.

~I would also look at a Halo or reloader B, both very similar hoppers, which you will be able to buy in full working order for about £20-30.
A little harder on batteries, and a little fiddly to change batteries or clean, but they will feed very reliably at 10bps and then sell on for about the same money. spares are easily available too. 5-10 years back and all the top teams were using these!
