Hopper revi or evi (evoulution 2)?

Hey guys I am getting a smartparts Ion or diablo wrath soon, and I curently own a vl revi 12 volt with xboardd is it urgent that I get a new hopper or will the gun perform well with the hopper that i curently have? Sugestions are welcome as well as prices and links on new hoppers.

The gun will perform alright, since it has vision [ both of them have ]. I personally prefer an Egg, since it has force feed mechanism, not just rotating in the loader and will feed you with more then you can shoot.

i run my ion on exactly the same thing.
its fine for rec balling,also keeps your paint bill down while still bein g competative.

a new hopper is recommended but its not essential and id perfonally spend the money on an on/off before a new hopper.

atleast now ull be getting the full bps out of ur hopper.

i use an Egg 2 in my Ion, However, its an awfully expensive upgrade for not a great deal of extra performance..

The Egg actually isn't a force feed design, the only current force feed hopper is the HALO B. The Egg's feed mechanism with the catch cup does feed way faster than the Revi though, and they can be had second hand for pretty cheap. Not a bad upgrade if you're the type of person who wants to get into competitive tournaments right away, but if you just plan on going out on weekends and the occasional tourney, or you're on a budget, you'd probably be better off spending the cash on paint and learning and enjoying the game.

team killzone uses the ricochet loader and its crazy fast and very accurate to esspecially bonusballings.
