Intellifed Halo's are good if you don't have a sensi/cops rod :p.

Egg with Z will be fine on your IR3.

Intellifeed Revi's are better than normal revis and also dont use batteries, jus plug into the top and off you go - money saving option too - ive had 2 ir3s and ran intellifed revis on both, never had feeding problems at all.

But out of an Egg and halo i'd definately go Egg

HALO problems with IR3's actually don't have anything to do with the COPS rod. They have to do with rollback due to any or all of the following: overused or not-so-good ball detents, open faced bolts that allow rollback, improper ram stroke adjustment. Get all of those sorted, and there's no reason in the world why you shouldn't be able to use a HALO and an IR3. That said, if you don't want to upgrade, your Z board egg isn't exactly slow. However, nothing can touch an intelli-HALO (and before anyone even thinks about saying "Q-Loader", I'm talking about REAL hoppers here)
