Homemade ION Body - how does it look?

Thought you might all want to have a quick look at Mattie's customised ion body, from a stock one. He'll post how he did it later for anyone interested!
But for now what do you all think???

looks good, a bit rough round the edges but a very good effort, with some finer filler and some wet and dry to get it perfectly smooth it will be spot on

not wanting to put you down or anything its a awesome effort, im just a tiny bit of a perfectionist

The roughness is mainly due to laziness on my part...after 4 or so coats of filler and sanding jus spraying the thing was looking very attractive...
now i finished this one i might try a more adventerous one

Try filling it with Isopon P38 car body filler.
That should get all the pits an dscrathces out, then sand it down with wet, wet and dry. Or, build it up in places, and cut some design into it witha dremel!

i used some loctite branded car body filler...only problem was it kept leaving air bubbles which is where most of the dents came from.
for the next one i might see if i can get hold of a triac milling machine and have a go with that...

Try Isopon, seriously...sets rock hard in minutes...you can even drill it.
