Although it's the same day as the big game, get yourself down there for a good days balling if you're like me and unable to go to the big game. There's no need to stay indoor this weekend just because others are out having fun! We can have our own fun! :D

Even with the Big Game looming, we appear to have quite a few people wanting to come and play ! - I think the 'Peacekeepers' are wanting to make an appearance ?

Should be a rather fun day as usual, with as many games packed in as is possible.

For anyone new to Holmbush, you get a frightening amount of games throughout the day but all with limited paint - so games are frenetic and tactical ! It's a long, yet cheap day. What you don't get, however, is 30 minute breaks between games eating into your playtime - So when you finish a game - clean up, pot up, air up ... then grab a cup of tea. If you do it the wrong way round we won't be waiting for anyone

They give everyone evils for some reason, I think it's just to keep you on edge! :p

But seriously though, as long as your bottle is in test then it'll be ok to use. They check everyone's first thing in the morning, so you shouldn't need to worry. And if it is out of date, they may lend you a site bottle if you ask nicely. :)

Ben, stop spoiling our fun  ... /evillook

As Ben rightly points out, as long as your bottle is in test date, you are absolutely fine to use your Dye Throttle. Each bottle is checked for date stamps at the start of the morning and 'tagged' so we can see if it's been checked.

If your tag gets lost or removed during the day, prepare for an 'Evil look' however :p

Not to sure unfortunately. Usually we could expect around 30 going, but because it's the big game weekend the numbers are going to be down, so I'm going to be guessing at 20. But that's not to disastrous because that just means they'll be able to squeeze a lot more games into the day. Probably get aorund 16+ games on those numbers. :D

Well there was a good turn out of something like 23-25 people which was good considering north vesus south was on at the same time! Think we played 12-14 games, I sort of stopped counting at around the 6 mark, but it was a good day overall though I enjoyed myself for a start. I hope others did too. :)

Yep !

Fun day.

28 players came, despite the Big Game going on, and most of these chaps were new to Holmbush. we hope you all had a good time and played alot more games than you are used to ;)

We had a few 'comments' about the idea of limited paint games from those that had never been asked to play this style, but of course this was before any games had started. Throughout the day players came up and expressed how suprised they were at how much fun it was, how much they could actually move and use tactics and of course how good it was to not get bonus-balled all day.
