Couple of things...

firstly I haven't managed to tallk to all the team about this, so our place is still TBC. Secondly a couple of gripes from the previous tourny we'd like addressed...

1. Start time was stated as 8am but in the event the games didn't kick off until 10.30am, as the organisers waited for a couple of late teams to arrive. This meant the majority were kept hanging around in the cold for 3 hours (we got there at 7.30), and weren't even allowed to fill bottles until 10am so couldn't set up any guns  If teams are late and miss the start - tough luck. Games should start on time regardless - we ran out of time in November & ended up playing finals in the dark and pissing rain which was dangerous & out of order.

2. Field rotas - We had to play one field 3 times from the same end, while not playing some other fields at all? It would be nice to get a chance to play opposing teams from both ends if possible, but I realise this may be difficult to plan.

3. Chrono rules and penalties were not AFAIK enforced all day. I'm sure some idiots were taking chances with hot guns once they realised no-one was getting checked after every game? If you set a safety rule at the start of the day then stick to it!

4. Ramping - pointless in woodsball and hard to regulate. Can we stick to un-capped semi only in future please?

hi gee-tee

This has been adressed we are starting at stated time as i mentioned as a player few things were wrong with the day but as you no they do listen and change things.
When players get to holmbush this time they are to register before bringing kit onto site we will adress this in car park teams are to book in then get gear from cars then air crono and so on.
Also crono will be done more often not sure for every game but random feilds to keep every one on there toes.
and we have sorted ramping as an issue by changing settings to ramp 8 balls for new guys and semi 15 for us old timers.
Hopefully this will give them a bit of a chance and equal game out.
i for one am semi only.
if you have any concerns feel free to speek to neil or ross on number above.
cheers gee-tee hope you get your team in for this one.

I kind of agree with most of what Gary is saying. Any chance of more than one fill staion this time? it was a bit of a pain queing up with such short turn arounds. As for chrono, we could go back to the tried and tested picking 1 or 2 players randomly from each team after the game and put them across.
As for ramping.. a hard call, i see your point about the Noobs being able to ramp to 8bps but wont that be hard to check and enforce? Me, i'm semi all the time and dont really care iif anyone ramps... they just have a bigger paint bill :D

Oh, and can we have some chairs, handwarmers and table service of tea and coffee... us old uns cant stand up for such log periods anymore you know..

Gary... you have to come mate.. Team Blow want to see if we can max you guys out in 30sec this time rather than 1 min in the first game of the day :D

i would like to see semi only, only people that need ramping is those that spray and pray, even on semi u can fire enough paint to keep someones head down if needed, so why not do semi only.

Hawks will be bringing 4 teams maybe have another team as well but will see, will comfirm after our game tommorrow.

Guys remeber its only a game and its for fun...... see u all there.

Shadowblade I really do wish you luck with your woodland events. No matter what is said you overlook it and focus on the next event or one in hand. These events are good fun guys even after finishing work at 2am and driving to London I still enoyed the day. Even after a 9 hour journey back home in snow storm it was still worth it. This guy is committed to getting woodball back with 5 man events. So guys if you like woodland or want to try it and live near London this is a cracking event !
