Could be one or more of a few things...

1) Poor timing... Have a read of a few good timing guides to remedy...

2) Knackered O-ring...

3) Too high cocking pressure...

or paint/shell has got in there. I got shot in the front end once at my 3-way started leaking, just needed to take it apart and clean it.

dont rule out the ram being naff either i encountered that one on a cocker i once fixed for someone........

disconnect the none pressurized lpr hose from the three way if air is coming out of this hose then it is gettting through the ram ie ram foobarred.

But as charlie says give it a clean first

what trigger set is on there it could well be that the trigger is badly out of adjustment and causing the 3 way to vent if it is restng in the wrong place, also it could be that the actuating rod is moving and causeing a leak, simple fix for that too, belsales sell a nice clip that hold the rod in place, about a fiver i think and worth every penny
