way i'd do it to begin with is to get some of the lads + ladies (yes ladies :D) along to a local site at least once month to get them into it and show them a side they can see. If everyone's is starting out new i'd do it like this. the see if any are really interested and give them some web site addresses to see the price of equipment. I'd imagine costs would be those only for a bit of advertising, a few posters and going to the site once a month. Once ppl hear you gotta club then it'll spread round quick enough i'd imagine.

That's the way i'd do it and i'm still at school. Twas the way i was hooked. ;)

one of the best ways is to get help is through a local site and offer to help out. Most sites are always short of staff. You may not be old enough to be a marshal but if you're playing there regularly and helping out then they may be more inclined to help you out in return. Plus it gives you an insight into what goes on behind the scenes...

Durham Uni started out playing tourneys using borrowed site rental gear until they could afford their own and did quite well considering they were playing against angels & cockers.

good luck with your team :)

Get Off My Field! NOW!
my team is made oup of my college buds... and yes being a studnet is hard cus your money goes elsewhere like social events ;) :p :D

anyway!!

The best bet is stick with it, their'll be time when you wanna just play play play, and enter all the tournies and stuff. unfortunately you cant do that without money.... which im sure most students are short off.

I started by going to the local site, and offering my help.... my boss baught my first gun for me, in good failth as i was a great little worker, and ever since he keeps droping free stuff on me

this wont neccerserily (spelling) happen at your site tho, then my mates got into it, and HUZZAH! we finally have a team..... anyway save your money, buy your kit, then work on playing....

Nudge...... Offering Kiddies Advice ;)

I am Year 8 so they would all be that bit older than me. Most of my mates now have a decent wage so maybe i might do Y8+.
