names Danny, played a few games at the usual fun day centres with mates etc and looking to get into paint balling as a sport/hobby.

On here to learn more, so expect stupid questions and banta.

Ps, based in Liverpool anyone else near? And is there any retail outlets near to try on masks as that is my first purchase in the next week or so.

Outpost at Chester might work for you, I believe they do walkons, and though there don't appear to be shops near you, sites often have a mini shop. But you may be traveling around near to one of the shops on the maps (always double check the shop still exists and times / days that it is open before traveling!)

If you don't have luck with shops then when at a walkon ask to try on someone's goggles.
It is worthwhile hanging on and not committing to your first goggles until you've tried more on, even if it does mean renting goggles at a walkon

There's a walk on on the 17th of this month at Outpost Chester If you're able to make it ask some of the players to let you have a look at their masks, it will give you an idea of what you like and what's the most comfortable. This is the best way to get a feel for a mask if you don't have any stores near you. and will save you from buying a mask only to find that you don't like it.

Hi guys.. thanks for your replies. I'll contact Outpost.

Currently I don't own nothing not even the correct clothing.. Will I be able to rent everything needed to play at a Walkon?

Yes mate Outpost has everything you need to play, they will provide you with a mask, marker, hopper, air tank , overalls, everything you will need to play. All you will need is yourself some money and a comfy pair boots / trainers etc . its a really cool site to play at.
