Hi so i have been paintballing a few times but never owned my own gear, somebody is giving me a tippmann gryphon, i was wondering if there is any way to put attatchments onto this, i have seen barrell shrouds but will any fit the tippmann gryphon, thanks

theres no point in doing any upgrade or modification to the gryphon, you will get rid of it within a month or two and its not a great gun

Leave it as, spend your money on paint and a good set of goggles and go have some fun

After a few months of playing and you will up grade to something else.

Nothing wrong with the gryphon. It's a basic starter marker, but there's nothing wrong with that
We don't know your preferred style of paintball so the standard advice is concentrate on goggles, add a steel/aluminium 3000psi cylinder, a hopper, paint, pod belt and pods then get playing



And as a scenario player ill let you in on a secret regarding anything that you can attach to markers:
With the exception of one thing they add nothing to your game
Sights are not required in paintball - if you know how to use a red dot with both eyes open then you know how to use the gun as a sight, and paintballs don't run in straight lines hitting where you point the crosshairs

The one exception that you can add that is useful is a torch for night or indoor games, however you need to keep it turned off for 99% of the time

Ps the second exception that can be added to a gun and is good for any form of paintball is a barrel cam. But you will still film the ground, so a head cam comes first

Hi thanks all for advice, all i know as well is it comes with an upgraded sniper barrell, not sure on size and an electronic hopper made by empire, only comes with a small gas bottle though so going to jeed to get a bigger capacity one

what is a 'sniper' barrel?

Told you i was new to all this, not too sure just was told it was an upgraded sniper barrel, its longet then the stock one

Just means your barrel is longer. Will give no sniping qualities im afraid.
