Nothing wrong with the gryphon. It's a basic starter marker, but there's nothing wrong with that
We don't know your preferred style of paintball so the standard advice is concentrate on goggles, add a steel/aluminium 3000psi cylinder, a hopper, paint, pod belt and pods then get playing
And as a scenario player ill let you in on a secret regarding anything that you can attach to markers:
With the exception of one thing they add nothing to your game
Sights are not required in paintball - if you know how to use a red dot with both eyes open then you know how to use the gun as a sight, and paintballs don't run in straight lines hitting where you point the crosshairs
The one exception that you can add that is useful is a torch for night or indoor games, however you need to keep it turned off for 99% of the time
