All of the following could be used for general purposes, and if you put a topic in the 'wrong' place then a moderator can move it.
There isn't really an 'off topic' section that you find in a few forums to talk about other things than paintball, if you mean a 'live chat' I don't think there is one.
There is also another area of the forum for 'platinum members'

Thanks Tom - I just didnt want to start posting random stuff in odd places!!

OK maybe you can help then - I'm looking to start up a small site (midlands)
Where (if any) would be a good place to discuss this, eg legalities, land etc?

Probably a good start where you've put it in announcements & queries

With the midlands though, if it's West Midlands then all of a sudden you're competing with possibly the best site in the country (NPF Bassets pole) set up by a guy who influenced much of today's paintball and a prime tournament venue (CPPS Penkridge)
