Heaven's Gate 2006 was an awesome event. If you weren't there, you missed out - plain and simple. The NSPL laid on a mini-millennium for its showcase event this year and HG is now firmly established as the best paintballing tournament in the UK bar Campaign. Start sweet talking your boss and misses now to ensure you have the time off for next year's event. I already have some plans on making the event even better and it will be one you do not want to miss.

Thank You
As always, there are a huge list of people to thank including the Millennium, all of my staff, the sponsors, the players, and the venue itself. However, I thanked all of these people in my presentation speach and wont list them all again here. There is, however, one thank you that I would like to reiterate...
If it wasn't for one person's continual support, understanding and hard work, Heaven's Gate would have not been the event it was this year and I personally would have found it a great deal more stressful. I very much doubt that a year ago, this person could have imagined what she was getting herself in to by falling in love with me, but she continues to surprise and amaze me with her support in everything I do. Melanie, thank you so much honey - I love you dearly. x
Feedback
From what I've read on these and other forums, it seems like everyone really enjoyed the event. The scoring system and ramping seem to have been particularly popular and I'm sure you all loved the fields, netting and general infrastructure. But what about the three-day format? I still firmly believe that this is the way forward for the event, but I would like to hear from you guys about your experiences and whether, with a year's notice, keeping the format would again limit the team numbers for next year?
The NSPL made a big loss on this year's event, but it was worth it to kick the event, and ultimately the league itself, yet another step up the ladder. As I said before the event, HG is a big thank you to the players so I can take that one on the chin. However, the event cannot sustain losses like that every year, so please do be honest with your feedback on this matter.
I look forward to hearing from you all...
