so as i was looking at the thread on my clamp i put an allen key in the top and bottom part of the thread and turned it and somehow it fell apart so was just wondering can you get a spare thread part and are they meant to come off the actual clamp as they have allen key holes in the top cheers newbie josh

ok i see

am guessing that because you have annodized it, it has become weak and broken as you describe

If you put a small dab of Loctite/threadlock on teh threads of the smaller screw, you can screw those pieces back together you know

yeahhh

yeah because of the anodising its happened is there any way of getting a new thread for my clamp as its a custom color and don't want to buy a full ccu kit just for a thread
