Does anyone else agree with me when I say the majority of UK 'ballers don't have as much fire and enthusiasm (in general) as European and Yank players?

It seems to me that a lot of teams and individuals think they're a bit too cool to be noisy and extreme their asses up a bit. The yanks don't seem to give a **** what they do to pump themselves up and a lot of the European teams (except the French, ok, maybe Enemy) are loud and get all excited about playing each game.

We Brits tend to be a bit too chilled on the whole, pump that **** up.

Just a thought.

We make all sorts of noises before a game, and we often draw blank stares from the other teams. Or worse: the soft mumble and the shake of the head...Eek!

Aside from you K2 doods I haven't seen that much enthusiasm from any of the other teams I have seen play! Not saying NO ONE else makes noise. I love getting pumped and yelling and just flat out $hit to get the heart pounding! Al you should listen to the song "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. Man I tell you that $hit with the thought of Paintball gets me pumped! BTW why don't you K2 guys return MAIL Biatch?

aren't the English supposed to be reserved and superior about all the fuss while us colonials and continental types just do not know any better than to yell and scream?....it just wouldn't be british is a phrase that i heard from a fellow that came out to the field to play once... ( although how that view and monty python can come from the same culture is worth pondering)

I can understand how it can help for some people but I think a lot has to do with how individuals prep themselves for a match.

Me, I'm a quiet sorta guy and I like to be thinking calm and straight before and during a match, helps me make accurate calls.. getting all pumped up makes me lose concentration.

But that's just me....

Everyone does have their own zone for getting ripped before a game, I just love seeing teams that pool in at the start and get some serious boooom going on.

My team always gets pumped before games and on the way to the field we listen to Slipknot. I think the brits prob is to many pints of that strong ale they drink.
