Escarmouche are forever looking for innovative means of getting the paintball message across to the masses.
We bang our heads together all the time thinking of how the message should be communicated to people, the majority of which, have never played paintball before.
A novel idea was to place an advert on 90 buses of the national bus service in n.ireland. We researched outdoor advertising and found Euro for euro it was an efficient and effective means of spending money. People are constantly driving, whether it be to and from work, shopping, visiting friends, or just out for a drive.
Better still, a contract deal was set up so that staff from the bus company would receive a discount should they wish to come and play at our paintball site. Contract deals like this are beneficial for all parties, but building a relationship with the bus company and the advertising companywas a goal that so far has paid off.
No doubt this form of advertising will keep Paintball out in the open for all to see.
