Ok so i took my ion apart for greasing, being directed by a couple of people over msn, i greased it up and it was sorted out, however today i noticed my bolt was sticking when firing a couple of times (no balls) and there was a air leaking sound coming out of the feedneck, so i took it apart again, relubed the bolt, put it back together and made sure everything was correct and nice & tight.
I screwed on my barrel and then my air and took it downstairs i opened the air switch (little twisty thing that allows air to go into the marker) and heard the air rush in (so far so good) and fill up in the gun.
HOWEVER i could hear a hissing sound so i put my ear to the marker and lsitened, definitely air escaping, so i listened to the feedneck and the sound got louder so anyway i unplugged the air and plugged it back in again, then i heard air rush out of the barrel and feedneck but twisted the air bottle and it stopped (almost, slight air leak coming from the feedneck again) so i twisted the bottle a little tight, Success! the air stopped leaking
I shot a few shots but the 3rd one was so weak i could have thrown the ball harder, so i stopped again, checked the air bottle, checked both guages, checked the bolt and all semmed fine, so i fired off a couple more shots and it seemed fine, no air hissing, no weird noises, all good, so i left it for about 10-15 seconds and the hissing returned, i twisted the air bottle a little more (although it didnt move)and the hissing stopped, i looked down the feedneck and saw the bolt stuck forward and a quiet hissing noise again, this is when i decided to call it a day and seek help, i removed the air bottle and degassed the marker and is now sitting on my bed with the bolt stuck forward.
Any help would be great or if there is a thread with this already on then please by all means direct me there. (i couldnt find one, i did look!!)
I checked the manual and it said about an exhaust valve and damaged orings but upon inspection the orings looked fine but i dont know what the exhaust valve is.
Please note that this is the first time I have done anything like this and so i'm still learning.
Please be nice and help me
