coming back to paintball after 13 year break. Played with Splatmasters and daystates from 85 so am a little out of my depth re markers. I have 200-250 to spend on a marker which will last me an do tourney (possibly) and be upgradeable can you advise what to go for? Should I go for secondhand and What could I get for this secondhand?

strippable

thanx for that but problem is I dont know what electro is nor wot is stippable. Can you advise with some names.

IS an electro just one with an electronic trigger or also with electronic controlled airflow? If so what markers are these.

How do I avoid buying a dud secondhand as where i am I have no ability to view.

Also as a postscirpt I note the magazine is US dominated. bugger all about the UK. I still have years of paintball sports mag, PI mage and paintball focus and most of them talk of forest games and BIG games. Seems that todays paintballers are to wrapped up in small arena paintball. I'd like to give it a go but think I'd still prefer rec ball. It's the loner in me. Sniper geezer.

Anyway any help on the guns to look out for I'd appreciate it?

the mag may be USA orientated, but these forums most definately swing the way of the UK.

go to the classifieds, get feedback from anyone whos selli a gat and whoevers dealt with them before just by asking.

as for rec thats what im mainly into, and i have an electro cocker, id say its worth going electro in the long run, and the prices on the 2nd hand market are insanely low at the moment, do as much research as you can

PBREVIEW is quite a good place to start, as well as researching what electros are and the differences to mech by using google man.

good luck, if you find one post it up here and lots of ppl will give you their opinions.

Peace,

Paul :)
