pretty cheap to get a full service from Tom Allen mate, hes your best bet (fully qualified angel tech
)
anyway, when your marker reaches a set number of cycles (shots), it recommends a service to clean it up basically. new o-rings, oiling up, clean away dirt etc etc etc.
worth it. makes it run smoother aswell
with your chopping, its probably because of a number of reasons:
1 - crap paint (or its been kept too cold or too hot therefore bigger or smaller than usual = chopping
2 - bad paint to barrel match
3 - most likely because your dwell is too high. get the manual from
www.wdp.tv for your ir3. when the dwell is low (probably around 15 or something for you at the moment), the bolt basically hits the ball harder and is less likely to not break, but you get a faster shot. increasing the dwell (id say to around 18-21) means the bolt will hit the ball more softly, and therefore less likely to break.
try all these seperately and use logic to sort the problem. try borrowing barrels from people for a start, or get someone who has an angel and ask them.
i find it HIGHLY UNLIKELY you are out shooting your hopper. is it and eggy?? or eggy 2??? thats important actually.
at 8bps you shouldnt even be able to out shoot a revy...lol thatll be the day
