Please can you tell me what you have to do to get a picture on your profile

i assume the profile picture is the same as your avatar picture(the one on the left of your post underneath your name)
for this go to user settings, edit profile, upload avatar. it has to be no larger than a certain size which is stated in the "edit profile"
